life is a nightmare. Haiti, “La perle des
Antilles” is today the poorest country in
the Hemisphere. 80% of Haitians estimated
live in extreme poverty and suffer from lack
of food and medical care. Life for Haitian
children is quite difficult. Two third of
them suffer from malnutrition. They are
hungry and alone, little girls who have been
abandoned; children who are praying that
someone will find them and rescue them… love
them and care about them.
These days, the level of poverty in Haiti is in a scale
unlike anything we have ever seen before. We need to do
something. And we have to! Our voices, our
contributions, our involvement in these critical
issues will make a difference. The children are depending on
